Visiting students are limited to no more than two (2) electives.. Approval to rotate at McGovern Medical School is granted solely by the Office of Student Affairs.Approvals obtained directly from department coordinators will not be honored.
We offer a variety of electives at UMMS teaching sites. Visiting students must provide proof of medical professional liability in the amount of $1,000,000/$3,000,000.
This elective is offered early in the fourth year and is designed for students interested in a career in the specialty.
