It's one of if not the last game developed by the dying Neverland company before their dev team were (apparently) absorbed into Marvelous Entertainment; and their previous exploits include the fantastic Rune Factory series, of which I personally am a great dfan of.
Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven was on my radar since it was first teased for a North American release last winter.At the time I didn’t think anything of how rare and special a NA release would be for this game.

When Rune Factory developer Neverland sadly shut up shop in 2013, there was still one project left on the table - a brand new story-driven SRPG named Lord of Magna. Lord of Magna is a strategy RPG with light dating simulation elements in an anime harem setup. For those not sure of what a harem setup is, it’s a scenario where the lead character, usually a man, finds himself wound up in a spider web of love interests with each female character falling for him at some point during the story. A slice of role-playing heaven mixed with a bit of framerate hell.
